Sustainability

Quality in materials

We are dedicated to creating crocheted garments using only high-quality materials, such as Peruvian cotton, ensuring durability and an impeccable finish in each piece.

Handmade with talent

Each of our crocheted pieces is handmade by talented artisans, who put their dedication and love into every stitch, guaranteeing unique and excellent products.

Ecological commitment

We use natural, eco-friendly yarns to ensure that each creation is not only beautiful but also environmentally friendly, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.

Positive Impact

More than 50 women deprived of their liberty have benefited from our learning and work workshops at the Chorrillos Virgen de Fátima and Santa Mónica prisons.

In the workshops, they can learn to knit, perfect techniques, receive training in various topics, and provide financial support for their families by knitting Santa Monica Crochet pieces with their own hands.

Fair payment and treatment

It's important to be aware of the effort and time required to carefully weave these garments, which is why they should be adequately compensated and given time so you can meet international market quality standards.

Respecting working conditions, materials, space, and schedule is extremely important for maintaining a proactive and healthy team.

Sustainable Fashion

All of our garments are 100% handmade by our teams of artisans in Peruvian prisons, which is why they can take days, even weeks, in some cases depending on the complexity of the garment. We don't focus on overproduction, but rather on the exclusivity of having only a few units per model.

In addition to having sustainable production in terms of quantity, we also do not have high water and electricity consumption, since our artisans do not work at night.

Sustainable Materials

We use organic Peruvian cotton and alpaca to knit our dresses, sweaters, tops, sets, skirts, and pants. For garments with denim appliqués, we use eco-friendly denim.

We release recycled collections to reuse all materials that are in optimal condition.

"By purchasing one of our garments, you not only support the social reintegration of women deprived of their liberty, but you also directly contribute to circular or sustainable fashion and allow these women and their families a second chance at life."
